Raw Chocolate Balls

For all chocolate lovers out there, these healthy treats wont last long so it might be a good idea to make double!

Ingredients:

‣ 10 medjool dates or 1 & 1/2 - 2 cups of dates soaked for 10 minutes in hot water

‣ 1& 1/2 cup of walnuts

‣ 1/2 cup of cacao powder (4-5 tablespoons of cacao powder)

‣ 1 heaped tablespoon of almond butter ‣ 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

‣ A pinch of sea salt

Method:

1) Pit your dates and place in a food processor

2) Add walnuts , cacao, almond butter, vanilla extract and salt

3) Blend all together for few minutes

4) With clean hands take 1 1ablespoon of the mixture and press with fingers to make each ball dense. Roll with both hands to shape the chocolate ball nice and round

5) Place shredded coconut on a plate and on another plate place cocoa powder

6) Take each chocolate bowl and roll each chocolate ball in one plate of your choice (either shredded coconut or cacao)

7) Place in a plate or box of your choice and refrigerate
